Job Purpose

To manage warranty and labour claim activities for HL \& BHL equipment, ensure timely submission and settlement of claims, monitor failed parts movement, and maintain accurate updates in JCB systems such as TechWeb, LiveLink and Smart Serve.

Key Roles \& Responsibilities (KRAs)

Labour Claim Management – HL \& BHL

• Prepare, verify and submit labour claims for HL and BHL machines.
• Ensure claims are submitted within the prescribed timelines.
• Monitor claim status and coordinate for approval and settlement.
• Maintain proper claim records and follow up on pending or rejected claims.

Warranty Failed Parts Movement \& Tracking

• Track warranty-failed parts from branches to Head Office.
• Coordinate collection, verification, packing and dispatch of failed parts to the JCB Plant.
• Maintain part-wise dispatch records and ensure timely delivery.
• Follow up on pending parts and maintain proper documentation.

LiveLink Error Code Monitoring

• Monitor LiveLink error codes on a daily basis.
• Identify eligible cases and coordinate with service teams for job card opening.
• Ensure timely call opening and documentation to generate labour claims.
• Follow up with branches for necessary technical reports and supporting documents.

Smart Serve Daily Activities

• Monitor and update daily service-related activities in Smart Serve.
• Ensure accurate data entry and timely completion of assigned activities.
• Coordinate with branch service teams for pending updates and discrepancies.

Daily Machine Failure \& TechWeb Updates

• Collect and monitor daily machine failure reports from all branches.
• Ensure timely updating of machine failure details in JCB TechWeb.
• Track machine breakdown cases and coordinate with service teams for resolution.
• Maintain accurate records of machine failures, warranty status and claim progress.

Required Skills \& Competencies

• Practical knowledge of warranty and labour claim processes in automobile or construction equipment industries.
• Experience with JCB warranty claim procedures will be preferred.
• Working knowledge of TechWeb, LiveLink and Smart Serve.
• Good knowledge of Excel, MIS reporting and documentation.
• Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
• Analytical ability to track claims, machine failures and pending cases.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Candidates with experience in JCB, earthmoving equipment, automobile dealership or heavy equipment service operations.
• Experience in handling warranty claims, failed parts tracking and labour claim documentation.
• B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent relevant technical qualification.
