Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated ICU Staff Nurse to provide quality nursing care to critically ill patients. The candidate should have good clinical knowledge, patient-monitoring skills, and the ability to handle emergency situations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
Monitor vital signs, oxygen saturation, BP, pulse, and temperature.
Administer medications and injections as prescribed by doctors.
Monitor ventilators, infusion pumps, and other ICU equipment.
Maintain proper patient records, nursing notes, and ICU charts.
Assist doctors during emergency procedures and critical care management.
Monitor patients' conditions and immediately report any changes to the consultant.
Maintain infection control and hygiene protocols.
Follow medication safety and patient safety guidelines.
Ensure proper handover and takeover during shift changes.
Maintain ICU inventory and ensure the availability of essential supplies.
Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare professionals.
Required Qualifications
GNM / B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
Valid Nursing Council Registration.
Basic knowledge of ICU procedures and critical care nursing.
Experience
2–3 years of ICU experience preferred.
