Junior Backend & Data Developer

About the role

You'll join our Backend, Data & ML team and support API development, database work, integrations and data tasks under the guidance of senior teammates.

What you'll do

Build and maintain backend APIs and services.

Write database queries, migrations and data scripts.

Support third-party and internal integrations.

Help with data processing and cleaning tasks.

Fix bugs, write tests and document your work.

What we're looking for

1-3 years of backend experience (internships and strong projects count).

Working knowledge of Django and SQL.

Understanding of REST APIs, databases and Git.

Interest in data engineering and ML.

Clear communication and willingness to learn.

Experience working with AI tools for development such as Claude and Cursor

Note: You don't need to be full stack. A solid backend foundation and the ability to work with frontend and mobile teammates is what we're after.

Nice to have

Python and basic data tools (for example pandas).

Exposure to cloud platforms or Docker.
