Job Description

Design, develop, and implement scalable Java applications and microservices using REST and Spring Boot.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, and translate them into technical solutions.

Lead technical design sessions, architecture discussions, and code reviews to ensure high-quality standards.

Upgrade and optimize existing Java and Spring-based applications, improving performance and resolving any legacy issues.

Implement Hibernate for data interaction, ensuring best practices in ORM (Object-Relational Mapping).

Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by users or QA teams, and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior developers, promoting awareness of best practices in software development.

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, frameworks, and technologies, proposing innovative solutions to enhance our applications.

Document design processes, technical specifications, and system configurations as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Solid experience in Java Development and Core Java (5+ years preferred).

Proven experience in microservices architecture using REST and Spring Boot.

Extensive knowledge of Hibernate and experience in working with relational databases.

Strong design and architecture skills, with experience upgrading Java and Spring frameworks.

Familiarity with modern development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban.

Proficient in version control systems, preferably Git.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
