Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Electrician with 4–7 years of experience in building construction or industrial project sites. The candidate should have hands-on knowledge of electrical machinery, troubleshooting site faults, lighting systems, electrical installations, and preventive maintenance.

Roles & Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, panels, lighting systems, and electrical equipment at the construction site.

Troubleshoot and rectify electrical faults in machinery, power supply systems, cables, and distribution boards.

Handle electrical maintenance of construction machinery, tools, motors, pumps, and other site equipment.

Install and maintain indoor/outdoor lighting, temporary site lighting, and power connections.

Inspect electrical panels, MCBs, MCCBs, switches, sockets, and distribution boards.

Perform preventive maintenance to minimize machinery breakdowns and electrical failures.

Identify electrical hazards and ensure compliance with site safety procedures.

Check earthing, cable connections, and electrical load distribution.

Coordinate with site engineers and maintenance teams to resolve electrical issues promptly.

Maintain records of electrical maintenance, breakdowns, repairs, and spare parts used.

Follow electrical safety practices, including isolation and lockout/tagout (LOTO), wherever applicable.

Ensure proper use and maintenance of electrical tools, equipment, and PPE.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of electrical machinery and equipment maintenance.

Experience in identifying and rectifying electrical faults at construction sites.

Practical knowledge of lighting installation, wiring, and power distribution.

Ability to troubleshoot motors, pumps, panels, and electrical tools.

Knowledge of electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and basic testing instruments.

Understanding of earthing, electrical protection systems, and workplace safety.

Ability to work independently and respond to electrical breakdowns.
