Portfolio Relationship Manager

Job Purpose

To manage and grow a portfolio of Small Business Enterprise (SBE) customers by providing financial solutions, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring portfolio quality through regular monitoring and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of SBE customers and act as the primary relationship manager.

• Deepen existing customer relationships through cross-selling banking products such as Business Loans, Working Capital, Current Accounts, Trade Services, Insurance, and Investment Products.

• Achieve portfolio growth targets in terms of assets, liabilities, and revenue.

• Conduct regular customer visits to understand business requirements and identify business opportunities.

• Analyze financial statements, banking transactions, and credit requirements to recommend suitable banking solutions.

• Ensure quality of portfolio by monitoring repayment behavior and minimizing delinquencies.

• Coordinate with credit, operations, and service teams for timely processing of customer requests.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, bank policies, and KYC requirements.

• Maintain accurate customer records and portfolio data in the bank's systems.

• Track market trends and competitor activities to enhance customer engagement and business acquisition.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline (MBA/PGDM preferred).

• 2 to 8 years of experience in Business Banking, SME Banking, Relationship Management, or Sales.

• Strong understanding of SBE/SME lending products and credit assessment.

• Knowledge of financial statement analysis and banking operations.

• Good communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
