Core Roles \& Responsibilities1. Customer Service \& Guest Relations

• Warm Greetings: Welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant or approach the counter with a polite and friendly demeanor.
• Order Taking \& Inquiries: Take dine-in, takeaway, or delivery orders accurately, answer menu questions, and explain daily specials, discounts, or combo offers.
• Upselling: Recommend popular items, add-ons, or promotions to increase average check sizes.
• Handling Complaints: Listen attentively to customer feedback or billing issues, resolve minor complaints calmly, and escalate major concerns to the manager.
• Reservations \& Phone Calls: Manage incoming phone calls, field inquiries, and handle table or pickup reservations.

Billing \& Point of Sale (POS) Operations

• POS Operation: Record orders and generate itemized bills using the restaurant’s Point-of-Sale (POS) or billing system.
• Payment Processing: Handle multiple payment types, including cash, credit/debit cards, UPI, mobile wallets, and gift vouchers.
• Issuing Receipts \& Change: Provide accurate change and hand out printed or digital receipts.
• Billing Corrections: Process refunds, void items, or apply approved discounts in accordance with restaurant policy.

Cash Management \& Reconciliation

• Cash Float: Count and verify the starting cash drawer (float) at the beginning of the shift.
• End-of-Shift Reconciliation: Balance cash drawers, credit card slips, and digital payment reports (UPI/cards) at the end of the shift or day.
• Sales Reporting: Prepare daily sales summaries, cash logs, and deposit or handover reports for management or the night auditor.
• Discrepancy Reporting: Immediately report any cash shortages, overages, or machine errors to the supervisor.

Coordination \& Support Duties

• Kitchen \& Floor Liaison: Coordinate closely with kitchen staff and service stewards/waiters to verify order readiness, package takeout/delivery orders, and track pending items.
• Station Cleanliness: Keep the front counter, cash wrap, and customer-facing area clean, organized, and free of clutter.
• Compliance \& Safety: Follow food safety, cash-handling security rules, and company standards at all times

Pay

₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
