Job Title: Kitchen Helper Department: Kitchen Operations Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Location: Rebel Foods Kitchens – Tamil Nadu Reporting To: Kitchen Supervisor / Kitchen Manager Job SummaryThe Kitchen Helper is responsible for assisting the kitchen team with basic food preparation, cleaning, maintaining hygiene, and supporting daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning. Key ResponsibilitiesAssist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, cutting and sorting vegetables. Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, workstations and cooking areas. Ensure proper hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen as per food safety standards. Support receiving, storing and arranging raw materials and ingredients. Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) practices while handling food materials. Assist in packing and labelling food orders whenever required. Dispose of waste properly and maintain cleanliness in designated areas. Follow instructions from the Kitchen Manager and support daily operational requirements. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace safety guidelines. Eligibility CriteriaMinimum qualification: 8th / 10th pass preferred. Freshers can apply. Prior experience in hotel, restaurant, QSR or cloud kitchen operations will be an advantage. Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety. Ability to work in shifts, including evening/night shifts. Willingness to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Required SkillsTeamwork and coordination. Basic food handling knowledge. Time management. Attention to cleanliness and hygiene. Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
