Job Description – Welder cum Mechanic Department: Technical / Workshop Operations Company: Konwert India Motors Pvt. Ltd. Job Responsibilities: 1. Perform welding, fabrication, cutting and fitting work on vehicle chassis, mounting brackets and retrofit kit components. 2. Carry out mechanical repairs, assembly, dismantling and installation of vehicle components. 3. Support EV retrofitment activities, including motor mounting, battery tray fabrication and structural modifications as per approved specifications. 4. Identify and rectify mechanical issues, ensure proper alignment and maintain the quality of workmanship. 5. Follow workshop safety procedures, use appropriate tools and equipment, and maintain a clean and organized workspace. 6. Assist technicians during vehicle servicing, troubleshooting and retrofit kit installation. 7. Ensure all assigned work is completed within the given timeline and report technical issues to the supervisor. Required Skills: - Practical experience in welding and vehicle mechanical work. - Knowledge of vehicle components, fabrication tools and workshop equipment. - Experience in automobile or commercial vehicle workshops preferred. - Ability to perform hands-on work and follow technical instructions. - Willingness to learn EV retrofitment processes. Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Welding, Fitter, Mechanic or a relevant technical trade preferred. Experience: 1–3 years preferred. Job Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka.
