About this job

We are looking for energetic and responsible Fresher Site Safety Officers to join our civil construction project teams. The selected candidates will be responsible for supporting the implementation of site safety procedures and ensuring a safe working environment under the guidance of senior site management.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe conditions and practices.

Monitor the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by workers and subcontractors.

Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions.

Monitor safety during excavation, scaffolding, working at heights, lifting operations and concreting activities.

Assist in implementing safety procedures, risk assessments and permit-to-work systems.

Maintain safety registers, inspection checklists and daily safety reports.

Report unsafe acts, near misses and accidents to site management.

Coordinate with Site Engineers, Supervisors and subcontractors regarding safety compliance.

Assist with emergency preparedness, fire safety and first-aid arrangements.

Ensure compliance with applicable construction safety regulations and company safety policies.

Educational Qualifications

Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering with a Safety Certification, or

Diploma / Degree in Fire & Safety / Industrial Safety, or

Recognized qualification in Construction Safety.

Basic knowledge of construction site safety practices.

Good communication and reporting skills.

Willingness to work at construction project sites across Kerala.

Basic computer knowledge, including MS Excel and Word.

Responsible attitude and willingness to learn.
