CNC Machine Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC turning machines to manufacture components as per production requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and component dimensions.
• Perform machine setting, tool setting, and basic offset adjustments.
• Select appropriate cutting tools and machining parameters for different materials.
• Monitor machine operations and ensure dimensional accuracy of finished components.
• Inspect machined components using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges.
• Identify and report machining defects, tool wear, and machine abnormalities.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and maintain machine cleanliness.
• Follow production schedules, quality standards, and workplace safety procedures.
• Maintain production records and ensure minimal material wastage.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience in CNC turning machine operation.
• Knowledge of CNC machine controls and basic G-code/M-code understanding.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and understand tolerances.
• Knowledge of cutting tools, tool offsets, and machining parameters.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments.

Pay

₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
