Job Purpose

To manage and monitor daily production activities, ensure product quality, achieve production targets, maintain machine efficiency, and ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Planning: Plan and execute daily production activities according to production schedules and customer requirements.
• Production Monitoring: Monitor production processes to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
• Quality Control: Ensure products meet required quality standards and specifications.
• Machine Operations: Monitor machine performance and coordinate with the maintenance team to minimize downtime.
• Manpower Management: Allocate work to operators and workers and ensure efficient utilization of manpower.
• Process Improvement: Identify production problems and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and reduce wastage.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure employees follow workplace safety rules and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Inventory Control: Monitor raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to avoid production delays.
• Documentation: Maintain production reports, rejection reports, downtime records, and other relevant documents.
• Coordination: Coordinate with the Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Purchase departments for smooth production operations.
• Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the production area as per 5S standards.
• Reporting: Report production progress, machine breakdowns, quality issues, and other operational concerns to the Production Manager.

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Relevant experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
