Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Asian, Chinese, and wok-based dishes as per the restaurant's standards.
• Handle wok cooking techniques, stir-frying, and preparation of Asian sauces.
• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, presentation, and portion control.
• Manage daily mise en place and ensure all ingredients are fresh and ready for service.
• Maintain hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards in the kitchen.
• Monitor stock, minimize food wastage, and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
• Coordinate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
• For CDP candidates, manage the assigned kitchen section and guide junior chefs.
• For DCDP candidates, assist the CDP in daily kitchen operations and preparation.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Asian, Chinese, or wok cuisine is essential.
• Experience in a restaurant, hotel, or premium dining establishment is preferred.
• Good knowledge of Asian ingredients, sauces, and cooking techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong teamwork, discipline, and attention to detail.
• Candidates with relevant wok station experience will be preferred.
