Central Planning

• Conducting Sales and Operations meets at the start of the month to align on monthly billing targets
• Daily tracking of retail and projects orders to plan raw material procurement timely and giving advance intimation to suppliers
• Sharing of monthly Production targets with factories and tracking output against same
• Ensuring effective coordinations with sales team to ensure orders are in place for effective utilization of capacities
• Forecasting Demands for short and long term to ensure required capacities planning is started timely
• Devising Planning related MIS and ensuring timely circulation

Central Procurement

• Sharing inputs on open retail orders with team and getting orders generated and shared with suppliers on time
• Timely generation of pick lists and ensuring material is made available for production as per schedule
• Sharing forecasts with suppliers and ensuring capacities are in place as per requirements
• Cost Savings initiatives by means of value engineering, scouting alternate sources, rate negotiations etc.
• Ensuring quality of material procured is meeting the required specification
• Inventory management – ensuring inventory built is as per agreed norms to enable effective utilization of working capital. Liquidation of dead and slow moving inventory in co-ordination with sales team.

People

• Handling suppliers across country for both the factories.

Co-ordination

• Co-ordination across multiple teams like Plant and Sales to meet customer requirements on time
