Truck Driver

Truck driver responsibilities include transporting goods safely, planning routes, inspecting and maintaining vehicles, loading/unloading cargo, complying with traffic and safety regulations, keeping detailed logs, and communicating with dispatchers and customers.

Vehicle Inspection \& Maintenance

Cargo Handling

• Load and unload goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.

Documentation \& Compliance

• Maintain detailed logs of working hours, mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery activities.
• Comply with federal/state trucking regulations, including hours‑of‑service rules.
• Handle shipment paperwork such as bills of lading and delivery receipts.

Communication \& Customer Service

• Coordinate with dispatchers, warehouse staff, shippers, and customers.
• Provide professional customer service and resolve delivery‑related issues.

Safety \& Operational Awareness

• Remain alert while driving and follow all safety protocols.
• Report accidents, violations, or incidents encountered on the road.
