Requirements & Qualifications

Previous experience in a boatyard, garage, vehicle workshop, or electrical repair environment.

Knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems and single-phase and three-phase wiring.

Experience in electrical troubleshooting and repairing machinery, vehicles, and diesel engine electrical systems.

Familiarity with electrical tools and testing equipment, including multimeters, insulation testers, and clamp meters.

Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).

Ability to work safely in confined spaces and around vessels.

Basic English communication skills.

Electrical trade certification is preferred.

Experience in vessel commissioning, maintenance, or refitting is an advantage.
