Mechanical/Electrical Engineer Intern

Key Responsibilities

• Prototyping \& Fabrication: Work hands-on in the workshop with cutting, welding, lathe operations, sheet metal components, and assembly of physical coconut peeling mechanism components.
• Mechanism \& Kinematics Testing: Assist in testing cutter blade durability, torque delivery, peeling feed rates, and machine structural integrity; troubleshoot mechanical jams and component wear.

Required Skills \& Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Production Engineering.
• Good understanding of fundamental mechanical principles: kinematics, power transmission (gears, belts, sprockets, bearings), materials selection, and manufacturing processes.
• Hands-on workshop comfort with basic hand tools, power tools, and measurement instruments (Vernier callipers, micrometers).
• Problem-solving mindset and enthusiasm for physical hardware setups.

Preferred (Bonus Points)

• Familiarity with basic pneumatics/hydraulics or integrating mechanical systems with sensors and actuators (PLCs/motors).
• Prior project experience building physical mechanisms, custom machinery, or participating in college hardware design competitions.

Pay

₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
