Tasks \& Responsibilities

• Set up and operate VOLLMER Wire Cut EDM machines.
• Load programs and adjust machining parameters.
• Monitor machining operations and ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Inspect finished components using measuring instruments.
• Maintain production and quality records.
• Follow safety and housekeeping standards.
• Experience in Wire Cut EDM machine operation.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of precision measuring instruments.
• Basic understanding of CNC programming and Auto cad \& machine maintenance.

Profile \& Requirements

• ITI / Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering, Tool \& Die Making, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of hands-on experience in operating VOLLMER Wire Cut EDM machines.
• Experience in carbide, PCD, or precision cutting tool manufacturing is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD\&T, and technical specifications.
• Proficient in setting machine parameters, program loading, and process optimization.
• Knowledge of CNC programming fundamentals, AutoCAD, and machine maintenance practices.
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Bore Gauges, Height Gauges, and Dial Indicators.
• Basic troubleshooting skills for machine operations and quality-related issues.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, productivity, and safety standards.
• Ability to maintain production reports, inspection records, and process documentation.
