Fitter Technician – Bus Air Conditioner Installation

Key Responsibilities

• Install and fit bus air-conditioning units and related mechanical components.
• Perform drilling, cutting, grinding, and basic fabrication work as required for installation.
• Assemble and mount AC components, brackets, supports, ducts, and related fittings.
• Read and understand basic engineering drawings and installation instructions.
• Assist AC technicians with installation, servicing, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure proper alignment, fastening, and secure fitting of components.
• Identify fitting issues and support troubleshooting during installation.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain tools and equipment properly.
• Coordinate with the installation team to complete work within the planned timeline.
• Maintain quality standards and ensure proper housekeeping at the worksite.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• ITI in Fitter, Mechanical, or a related technical trade preferred.
• Experience in mechanical fitting, fabrication, assembly, or vehicle-related installation is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, drilling, and fastening techniques.
• Ability to understand basic technical drawings and fitting instructions.
• Knowledge of bus body building, automotive assembly, or HVAC installation will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to work at bus manufacturing facilities and customer locations as required.

Pay

₹17,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
