Key Responsibilities

• Blueprint \& Drawing Interpretation: Read and understand engineering drawings, technical schematics, and production layouts. \[1, 2]
• Metal Shaping \& Fabrication: Cut, saw, file, drill, grind, tap, and shape metal parts using hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery (lathes, drills, and grinders). \[1, 2, 3]
• Assembly \& Installation: Fit and assemble mechanical parts, structural components, or piping systems using screws, rivets, pins, or welding equipment. \[1, 2]
• Precision Measurement: Measure and inspect components using precision instruments like vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges to check tolerances. \[1, 2, 3]
• Maintenance \& Troubleshooting: Perform routine preventive maintenance, inspect worn-out parts, and repair or replace malfunctioning machinery. \[1, 2]
• Safety Compliance: Follow strict workplace safety protocols, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean workspace. \[1, 2, 3]
• Required Qualifications \& Skills
• Education: 10th-grade pass followed by a 2-year National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the ITI Fitter CTS Vocational Course. \[1, 2, 3]
