Pharmacist

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and responsible Pharmacist to manage pharmacy operations, dispense medications, maintain inventory and ensure safe and accurate medication dispensing to patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense medicines and prescriptions accurately as per doctors' instructions.
• Verify prescriptions and ensure appropriate medication dispensing.
• Maintain adequate stock of medicines and medical supplies.
• Monitor medicine expiry dates and maintain proper storage conditions.
• Maintain pharmacy records, billing and inventory documentation.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses and other hospital departments.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and hospital policies.
• Handle medicine procurement, stock replenishment and vendor coordination.
• Provide medication-related information to patients and healthcare staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the pharmacy.

Educational Qualification

• D.Pharm / B.Pharm from a recognized institution.
• Valid registration with the State Pharmacy Council.

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy preferred.
• Freshers with relevant qualifications may also apply.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of medicines and pharmaceutical products.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Inventory management and billing knowledge.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a hospital environment and rotational shifts.
