Job Overview

The Showroom Office Boy / Support Staff supports day-to-day showroom maintenance, assists customers with refreshments, handles errand runs, and actively participates in local marketing by distributing promotional pamphlets and flyers to nearby residential and commercial sites.

Key Responsibilities

Showroom Upkeep \& Daily Operations

• Maintain clean, organized showroom displays, work desks, and consultation areas.
• Dust interior sample boards, laminates, hardware displays, and mockups daily.
• Open and prepare the showroom every morning; ensure lights, air conditioning, and display units are switched on.
• Serve tea, coffee, water, and refreshments to visiting clients and guests promptly and courteously.

Pamphlet Distribution \& Local Marketing

• Distribute showroom brochures, pamphlets, and catalogs to targeted nearby locations (e.g., apartment gates, newly constructing buildings, local markets, and residential neighborhoods).
• Hand out promotional materials during local interior expos, weekend drives, or seasonal campaign events.
• Assist in placing standees, banners, or directional boards in designated spots outside or near the showroom.
• Report back on areas covered, quantity of flyers handed out, and foot traffic observations.

Errands \& Office Support

• Collect and deliver samples, fabric swatches, catalogs, and documents between the showroom, warehouse, or nearby client sites.
• Receive couriers, parcels, and material deliveries; store them in the backroom or deliver them to the relevant designer/salesperson.
• Monitor kitchen/pantry and housekeeping supplies (water bottles, tea/coffee stock, tissues, cleaning liquid) and report shortages for restocking.
• Assist showroom staff with light shifting of small furniture items, panels, or decorative accessories during floor resets.

Requirements \& Qualifications

• Education: Minimum 10th standard pass or equivalent.
• Experience: 0–2 years of experience working as an office boy, store helper, runner, or delivery staff (interior showroom experience is a plus, but freshers are welcome).
• Skills \& Attitude
• Punctual, honest, and hardworking.
• Polite demeanor and basic personal grooming suitable for a customer-facing showroom environment.
• Willingness to do field work and distribute promotional flyers on foot/bike.
• Mobility: Having a two-wheeler with a valid driver’s license is preferred for errands and distribution tasks.
• Language: Basic communication skills in the local language; basic understanding of English or Hindi is an advantage.

Pay

₹18,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
