About the Role

Chessensei is looking for enthusiastic and passionate Chess Coaches who are interested in teaching chess to children. Recent graduates and freshers are encouraged to apply.

Candidates with basic chess knowledge and a passion for teaching are welcome. 15 days of structured training will be provided to help selected candidates understand our teaching methods and coaching process.

Roles \& Responsibilities

• Teach basic chess concepts and fundamentals to children.
• Conduct engaging and interactive chess classes.
• Explain chess rules, piece movements, check, checkmate and basic tactics.
• Help students improve their chess skills through regular practice.
• Follow structured lesson plans and teaching guidelines.
• Track student attendance and learning progress.
• Maintain effective communication with parents and the internal team.
• Ensure punctuality and maintain class quality.

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum qualification: Graduate in any discipline.
• Recent graduates and freshers are welcome.
• Basic knowledge of chess is mandatory.
• Good verbal communication in English is a must.
• Candidates must have a minimum communication rating of 3 out of 5.
• Candidates scoring below 3/5 in the communication assessment are not eligible and should not apply.
• Must be confident in explaining concepts and interacting with children.
• Must be patient, responsible and punctual.
• Willingness to learn and participate in the 15-day training programme.
• Basic computer knowledge is preferred.
