Job Summary

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for driving sales and achieving sales targets for IT peripheral products in a designated region. This role will involve managing existing channel partners, developing new sales opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets within the assigned region.
• Manage and grow relationships with distributors, retailers, and channel partners.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities and partnerships.
• Provide product training and support to partners and clients to enhance product knowledge and usage.
• Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer behavior to refine sales strategies.
• Prepare sales reports and forecasts, and provide insights on performance to the senior management.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that all sales strategies align with marketing campaigns.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely product availability.
• Ensure after-sales support and address any customer concerns or issues.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in sales, particularly in IT peripherals, electronics, or technology products.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel extensively within the region.
• Proficient in CRM and sales tracking software.

Preferred

• Experience in handling a sales team and multiple channel partners.
• Good understanding of the regional market dynamics for IT peripherals.
