Sports Event Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION: SPORTS EVENT COORDINATOR Job Summary : MCA’s Sachin Tendulkar Gymkhana is seeking a dynamic and organized Sports Event Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and execute all sports-related events across its three prestigious club locations. The role involves end-to-end management of sports events while ensuring smooth operations, member satisfaction, and adherence to the club’s high service standards. Key Responsibilities : 1. Plan, organize, and execute all sports events, tournaments, leagues, and activities across MCA Club BKC, MCA Club Kandivali, and Airoli Sports Association. 2. Coordinate with sports committees, coaches, referees, vendors, and internal departments for successful event execution. 3. Prepare event schedules, fixtures, budgets, and operational plans. 4. Ensure availability and proper arrangement of sports facilities, equipment, and infrastructure for events. 5. Oversee on-ground event operations including registrations, coordination of participants, officials, and support staff. 6. Handle members and participant communication related to sports events, including announcements and updates. 7. Ensure compliance with safety norms, club policies, and standard operating procedures during events. 8. Maintain event records, reports, and post-event feedback for continuous improvement. 9. Assist management in developing new sports initiatives and promotional activities. 10. Coordinate with marketing and communication teams for event promotion within the club. Required Skills & Competencies : Strong organizational and coordination skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to handle multiple events and locations simultaneously Basic knowledge of various sports and tournament formats Problem-solving ability and attention to detail Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Qualifications & Experience : Graduate in Sports Management, Event Management, or a related field (preferred) Minimum 1 year of experience in sports event coordination, preferably in clubs, hotels, or sports organizations. Experience in handling large-scale sports events or tournaments will be an added advantage.
