JOB DESCRIPTION – COMPUTER SCIENCE TEACHER Position

Secondary Level Computer Science Teacher

Job Summary

Responsible for teaching computer science and developing students' computer literacy, programming skills, logical thinking, and practical knowledge of technology.

Key Responsibilities

Teach computer fundamentals, programming, coding, and IT concepts.

Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching materials.

Conduct practical computer lab sessions.

Assess students' academic performance and maintain records.

Teach basic hardware, software, internet safety, and digital skills.

Guide students in computer projects and activities.

Maintain computer lab equipment and discipline.

Provide academic support and participate in school activities.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / IT / Computer Applications or a relevant field.

B.Ed. or equivalent qualification, where applicable.

Required Skills

Good knowledge of computers and programming.

Strong communication and teaching skills.

Basic troubleshooting and technical skills.

Effective classroom management.

Experience

1–3 years of teaching experience preferred. Freshers may also apply if suitably qualified.
