Job Summary

GCC Drilling Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated English Language Tutor to train students, fresh graduates, and job seekers aspiring to secure overseas employment opportunities in the GCC countries, particularly in the oil and gas, drilling, and industrial sectors.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving students' spoken English, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening skills, and professional communication abilities. The tutor will also prepare candidates for overseas job interviews, technical interviews, HR interviews, workplace communication, and professional interactions with international employers.

The role requires excellent English communication skills, effective teaching methods, and the ability to build students' confidence in communicating with recruiters, supervisors, colleagues, and international work teams.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct English language training sessions covering Spoken English, Grammar, Vocabulary, Pronunciation, and Communication Skills.

Improve students' fluency, sentence formation, confidence, and everyday English communication.

Train candidates in professional English communication relevant to GCC workplaces and the oil and gas industry.

Provide specialized training for overseas job interviews, including HR interviews, self-introductions, and technical interview communication.

Conduct mock interviews and group discussions to improve students' speaking abilities and confidence.

Train students in workplace conversations, professional etiquette, email writing, and communication with supervisors and colleagues.

Develop students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills through interactive classroom activities.

Teach industry-related English vocabulary, technical terminology, and commonly used workplace expressions.

Prepare lesson plans, presentations, worksheets, assessments, and interactive learning materials.

Provide individual feedback and personalized coaching based on each student's English proficiency level.

Conduct regular speaking assessments, progress reviews, and mock interview sessions.

Maintain attendance records, student performance reports, and training progress documentation.

Coordinate with technical trainers and placement teams to prepare candidates for overseas recruitment opportunities.

Create a friendly, engaging, and learner-focused classroom environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, English Literature, Linguistics, Education, or a related discipline.

Freshers and candidates with 0–2 years of teaching or tutoring experience are welcome.

Experience as an English Tutor, Spoken English Trainer, Communication Skills Trainer, or Soft Skills Trainer is preferred.

Certifications such as TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or Train-the-Trainer are an added advantage.

Candidates with experience training job seekers or preparing students for overseas employment will be preferred.

Required Skills

Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.

Strong command of English grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and sentence construction.

Ability to teach Spoken English from beginner to intermediate and advanced levels.

Good knowledge of interview preparation and professional communication.

Ability to improve students' fluency, confidence, and presentation skills.

Strong classroom management and student engagement abilities.

Excellent teaching, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Zoom, and Google Meet.

Ability to prepare customized lesson plans and training materials.

Patience and a positive attitude towards teaching students with different proficiency levels.
