Driver Cum Store Assistant

The Driver cum Stores Assistant will operate the Coimbatore Ace vehicle and support day-to-day factory operations. Alongside driving, the role covers local purchase of raw materials, courier booking, material replacement coordination, store assistance and general local assistance.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain the vehicle log book, trip records, fuel entries and mileage.

Keep the vehicle clean, roadworthy and ready for use; report servicing needs, repairs and breakdowns promptly.

Submit bills and purchase documents to the Accounts and Stores teams on time.

Book couriers and transport for outgoing and incoming items as instructed.

Prepare and pack items safely and attach the correct address, details and documents.

Assist the Stores In-charge in receiving, unloading, checking, stacking and issuing materials.

Carry out any other work assigned by management related to factory operations.

Qualification and Experience

Minimum SSLC / 10th pass; Plus Two preferred.

Valid driving licence for light motor vehicles (LMV), with a clean driving record.

Minimum 2–3 years of driving experience, preferably with goods vehicles such as an Ace.
