Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Panel Assembly Supervisor to manage and supervise production activities at our electrical panel manufacturing facility.

The ideal candidate should have a Diploma or Engineering background in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering, with practical experience in electrical control panel assembly.

The candidate must be capable of independently reading and interpreting engineering drawings, design documents, ELDs, MLDs, and evaluating MBOMs etc. to ensure accurate material planning and execution of assembly activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day electrical control panel assembly activities.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, circuit diagrams, ELDs, MLDs, and engineering design documents.
• Evaluate and verify MBOMs against engineering drawings and project requirements.
• Identify material discrepancies, missing components, and BOM-related issues before and during production.
• Coordinate with the stores and purchase team to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Guide technicians in component mounting, panel assembly, busbar fabrication, wiring, and mechanical fitting.
• Ensure assembly is carried out according to approved drawings and customer specifications.
• Plan manpower allocation and monitor daily production targets.
• Monitor workmanship and resolve assembly-related technical issues.
• Coordinate with the Quality Control team for inspection and testing.
• Maintain production records and report progress to management.
• Ensure proper utilization of materials, tools, and manpower.

Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering or similar.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in electrical control panel manufacturing and assembly.
• Strong ability to read and interpret ELDs, MLDs, electrical drawings, and engineering documents.
• Practical knowledge of MBOM evaluation, material verification, and component identification.
• Good understanding of electrical components, panel mounting, busbar systems, and wiring practices.
• Experience in supervising technicians and managing shop-floor production.
• Good problem-solving, coordination, and leadership skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and MS Excel proficiency.
