GIS & Remote Sensing Consultant

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced GIS \& Remote Sensing Consultant to support geospatial analysis, satellite image processing, spatial data management, and mapping projects.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience in GIS software, remote sensing techniques, satellite imagery analysis, and geospatial data interpretation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform GIS mapping, spatial analysis, and geospatial data processing.
• Process and analyze satellite imagery using remote sensing techniques.
• Conduct land use/land cover (LULC) classification and change detection analysis.
• Prepare thematic maps, digital maps, and geospatial databases.
• Work with satellite datasets such as Sentinel-1, Sentinel-2, Landsat, and other relevant imagery.
• Perform DEM, terrain, hydrological, and spatial analysis.
• Prepare technical reports, maps, presentations, and project documentation.
• Provide technical consultation and support for GIS and remote sensing projects.

Required Skills \& Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in GIS, Remote Sensing, Geoinformatics, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in QGIS and/or ArcGIS.
• Knowledge of Google Earth Engine (GEE) will be an advantage.
• Experience with ERDAS Imagine, ENVI, SNAP, or similar software.
• Good understanding of satellite image processing and spatial analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.

Pay

₹216,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
