Injection Moulding Setter

• Mold setting: Install and remove molds in injection molding machines.
• Machine setup: Set injection pressure, temperature, speed, cooling time, and cycle time.
• Process adjustment: Adjust machine parameters to eliminate defects such as flash, short shots, sink marks, and warpage.
• Material handling: Check plastic raw materials and drying conditions.
• Quality inspection: Check dimensions, appearance, and product quality.
• Troubleshooting: Identify machine, mold, and process problems.
• Safety: Follow machine safety procedures and lockout procedures during maintenance or mold changes.

Skills required

• Knowledge of injection molding machines and molds
• Understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and servo machines
• Knowledge of plastics such as PP, ABS, PC, and nylon
• Ability to read process sheets and use measuring instruments
• Experience with mold changes, parameter setting, and defect correction
