Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Production Engineer with experience in uPVC doors and windows manufacturing who can independently handle both Production Planning \& Control (PPC) and shop-floor production activities. The candidate should be capable of planning daily production, allocating manpower, monitoring output, tracking order progress, and ensuring timely completion of production targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily and weekly production plans based on customer orders and delivery schedules.
• Handle both PPC activities and day-to-day shop-floor production operations.
• Monitor production progress and ensure targets are achieved as per the plan.
• Coordinate production activities across cutting, welding, fabrication, hardware fitting, assembly, and other relevant processes.
• Allocate manpower and work responsibilities to operators and production teams.
• Track planned versus actual production and identify delays or bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with Stores, Purchase, Quality, and Dispatch teams to ensure smooth production flow.
• Monitor raw material availability and follow up on material shortages.
• Prepare daily production reports, pending-order reports, and production performance updates.
• Identify production issues and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and reduce wastage.
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines, tools, and materials.
• Follow up with supervisors and team members to ensure work is completed on time.

Required Skills

• Practical experience in uPVC doors and windows manufacturing.
• Good knowledge of Production Planning \& Control (PPC).
• Hands-on experience in shop-floor production management.
• Ability to handle manpower, allocate work, and monitor team performance.
• Knowledge of production scheduling, order tracking, and target achievement.
• Good coordination, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and production reporting.

Educational Qualification

Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 2–5 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Candidates with experience in uPVC doors and windows manufacturing will be preferred.
• Experience in aluminium doors and windows manufacturing may also be considered if the candidate has strong PPC and production-handling skills.
• Candidates must have experience in both production planning and actual production operations, not only Quality Inspection or QA/QC.
