Team Leader - Operations

Role Overview

We are looking for a Team Leader to lead the store sales team at the brand's MBO stores/counters in Chennai. You will coach and manage sales associates, deliver sales targets, and ensure a great customer experience on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and coach the store sales team to achieve daily, monthly and seasonal sales targets
• Plan team schedules, attendance and floor coverage so the store is well staffed at peak hours
• Ensure excellent customer service, including product knowledge, upselling and cross-selling
• Maintain visual merchandising, stock presentation and brand standards at the counter
• Monitor stock availability, replenishment and inventory accuracy, and coordinate with the supply team
• Track sales performance, conversion and team productivity, and share regular reports with management
• Train new joiners and handle customer queries and escalations
• Requirements
• 7-10 years Experience in apparel or fashion retail, with at least 2-3 years in a store team-handling role
• Proven ability to meet sales targets and lead a sales team
• Good communication, customer-handling and people-management skills
• Basic knowledge of POS, billing and Excel reporting
• Fluency in Tamil and English preferred

Pay

₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
