Job Description – Commis II (South Indian)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and cooking authentic South Indian dishes.
• Handle preparation of breakfast items, and other regional specialties.
• Ensure food preparation as per standard recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
• Ensure proper storage, labelling, and FIFO practices for food ingredients.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards.
• Coordinate with senior chefs for smooth kitchen operations.
• Minimise food wastage and ensure proper utilisation of ingredients.

Qualifications \& Experience

• Craft Course / Diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in South Indian cuisine, preferably in hotels or resorts.

Key Skills: Knowledge of South Indian cuisine, basic cooking techniques, food safety, teamwork, time management, and attention to detail.

Pay

₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
