Electrical Supervisor

Job Purpose

To supervise and coordinate electrical maintenance activities, ensure uninterrupted plant operations, attend breakdowns, and maintain electrical equipment in safe and efficient working condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily electrical maintenance activities and allocate work to electricians.
• Monitor and maintain electrical motors, control panels, switchgears, transformers and other electrical equipment.
• Attend electrical breakdowns and ensure timely rectification.
• Plan and implement preventive and periodic maintenance schedules.
• Monitor FFS packing machines and other production-related electrical systems.
• Ensure proper monitoring of power consumption and identify opportunities for energy savings.
• Coordinate with production and other departments to minimise equipment downtime.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures and statutory requirements.
• Maintain electrical maintenance records, breakdown reports and spare parts inventory.
• Guide and monitor electricians and ensure completion of assigned work.
• Identify recurring electrical faults and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safety in electrical rooms and maintenance areas.

Qualification

• Diploma / ITI / B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE).

Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience in supervising electricians and handling industrial electrical equipment.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of industrial electrical systems and maintenance.
• Troubleshooting and breakdown-handling skills.
• Knowledge of motors, switchgears, control panels and electrical wiring.
• Preventive maintenance planning.
• Team supervision and coordination.
• Basic computer and maintenance report preparation skills.

Pay

₹350,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
