Housekeeping Executive / Housekeeping Supervisor

A Housekeeping Supervisor in a hospital manages daily cleaning operations to keep the facility sterile, safe, and compliant with health regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Staff Management: Assign duties, create shift schedules, and supervise housekeeping and EVS (Environmental Services) personnel.
• Infection Control: Ensure strict adherence to hospital sanitation, disinfection, and CDC/NABH safety protocols.
• Quality Inspections: Regularly inspect patient rooms, wards, operation theatres, and public areas to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Waste \& Linen Management: Monitor biomedical waste segregation and coordinate laundry and linen supplies.
• Inventory \& Maintenance: Track cleaning supplies, handle stock orders, and report facility repair or maintenance issues.
• Training \& Compliance: Conduct staff orientation, chemical safety training, and resolve service complaints.

Qualification

Graduate / Diploma in Hotel / Hospitality Management

Experience

1 to 3 years of housekeeping or supervisory experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
