Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Cold Kitchen Continental Chef to prepare and present a variety of cold Continental dishes, salads, starters, sandwiches, and dressings while maintaining food quality, freshness, and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of Continental salads, cold starters, sandwiches, dips, and dressings.
• Prepare and present cold platters, appetisers, canapés, and other cold kitchen items.
• Handle vegetables, fruits, cheese, meats, and other ingredients with proper cutting and preparation techniques.
• Ensure freshness, taste, quality, and presentation of all dishes.
• Follow standard recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain proper storage, labelling, and temperature control of food items.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness of the workstation and equipment.
• Monitor ingredient stock and minimise food wastage.
• Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and service.
• Maintain consistency in food quality and follow kitchen SOPs.

Skills \& Requirements

• Hands-on experience in Continental cold kitchen operations.
• Knowledge of salads, dressings, cold sauces, sandwiches, and appetisers.
• Good food presentation and plating skills.
• Knowledge of food safety, storage, and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Good teamwork and time-management skills.

Qualification

• Hotel Management or Culinary Arts qualification preferred.
• Relevant experience in a hotel, restaurant, or premium food retail kitchen preferred.

Pay

₹20,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
