Purchase Engineer

Company: GMP Machpro – GMP Machineries & Packaging Roles & Responsibilities: Identify and purchase engineering materials, machine parts, and components. Coordinate with suppliers for quotations, pricing, and delivery schedules. Prepare and process purchase orders (POs). Negotiate prices and payment terms with suppliers. Follow up on material delivery and ensure timely availability. Coordinate with production, stores, design, and accounts departments. Maintain purchase records, supplier details, and material reports. Ensure material quality and cost-effective purchasing. Requirements: Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or relevant qualification. Experience in purchase or procurement in a manufacturing company is preferred. Knowledge of mechanical components, MS Excel, and ERP systems. Good negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
