Junior DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer with a good understanding of cloud technologies and DevOps practices. Candidates should have relevant certifications and hands-on project experience in Azure, CI/CD, Terraform and Docker.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure using Microsoft Azure.

Support CI/CD pipeline development, deployment and automation.

Work with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and Docker for containerisation.

Perform Linux administration, scripting and basic troubleshooting.

Use Git for version control and maintain technical documentation.

Leverage AI tools for writing, debugging and reviewing scripts and configurations, ensuring the accuracy of AI-generated outputs.

Required Skills

Fundamentals of Microsoft Azure.

Knowledge of Linux, networking and scripting (Bash/Python/PowerShell).

Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD, Terraform and Docker.

Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or GitHub Copilot for development and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.

Relevant certifications: Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104), HashiCorp Terraform Associate and Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400).

0–2 years of experience. Freshers with relevant certifications and practical project experience are encouraged to apply.
