We are looking for Supplier Development Engineer for our Chennailocation

Key Responsibilities

Supplier Performance Analysis

Evaluates supplier performance data to identify improvement opportunities and implement enhancement strategies.

Process Improvement Initiatives: Develops and executes process optimization plans to enhance supplier capabilities and ensure compliance with company standards.

Cross Functional Collaboration: Partners with procurement, quality assurance, and engineering teams to facilitate effective supplier development and integration.

Training and Support: Provides informal guidance and training to new team members and suppliers to enhance technical skills and understanding of company requirements.

Issue Resolution: Identifies and resolves supplier related issues using technical expertise and judgment to maintain quality and timely delivery.

Key Skills

Supplier Relationship Management: Expert in building and maintaining strong partnerships with suppliers to enhance collaboration and performance.

Process Improvement

Skilled in analyzing and optimizing manufacturing and supply chain processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Data Analysis: Proficient in interpreting complex data sets to inform decision making and drive strategic supplier development initiatives.

Technical Problem Solving

Adept at identifying root causes of technical issues and implementing effective solutions using engineering principles.

Project Management: Experienced in planning, executing, and overseeing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and within budget delivery.

Effective Communication

Capable of clearly conveying complex technical information to diverse stakeholders in straightforward situations.

Quality Assurance: Knowledgeable in quality control standards and methodologies to ensure supplier products meet company and industry specifications.

Supply Chain Coordination

Understanding of supply chain dynamics and ability to coordinate activities to support seamless supplier integration.

Technical Documentation: Skilled in creating and maintaining detailed technical documents, reports, and specifications to support supplier development efforts.

Leadership

Provides informal guidance and mentorship to new team members, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.

Other Qualifications

Atleast 8-10 years of experience in related field ; BE/BTech Mechanical
