Analyst I, Logistics

Monitor and control the transportation and distribution of products necessary to meet business needs while maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs. Tasks involve managing the administration and day-to-day logistics, evaluating different transport options, analyzing the optimal number of trucks/containers needed to transport product shipments based on the required schedule, and reviewing and improving processes and procedures relating to product distribution, cargo composition, and storage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute all transportation processes across regional distribution points of delivery (PODs).
• Daily monitor queries through TMS, ensuring orders are optimized and shipped on time.
• Facilitate communications and coordination between internal customer groups and external carrier contacts to support service-level objectives.
• Monitor data flows between ERP systems, TMS and WMS systems to ensure synchronization for successful transportation execution.
• Identify gaps in transportation capacity and initiate accurate measures with Transportation Capacity Planning teams.
• Daily interact with off-site carriers and on-site carrier partners to resolve service and capacity issues, with escalation of critical issues to management as needed.
• Identify opportunities across the transportation network and related activities to enable service and cost improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or a related field.
• 2+ years of Transportation \& Logistics experience, preferably within FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of transportation and logistics operations.
• Proficiency in transportation software and tools, including TMS, OTM, SAP, ORTEC and 4Kites.
• Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
