Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Accountant who can independently manage end-to-end accounting operations for a technology-driven startup, including hardware inventory accounting, statutory compliances, and coordination with external CA firms.

This is a hands-on role requiring ownership, accuracy, and strong understanding of startup operations rather than just book entry work.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end day-to-day accounting including sales, purchases, expenses, and vouchers.
• Handle bank transactions, reconciliations, and maintain real-time cash flow visibility.
• Monitor receivables, payables, and ageing reports with timely follow-ups.
• Maintain and reconcile hardware inventory, stock evaluation and tracking.
• Ensure accurate GST compliance including returns, ITC reconciliation, and payments.
• Handle TDS deductions, payments, and quarterly return filings.
• Support payroll accounting, statutory deductions, and employee reimbursements.
• Prepare monthly MIS including P\&L, cash flow, expense analysis, and inventory reports.
• Maintain books of accounts and ensure audit-ready documentation at all times.
• Coordinate with external CA firms for audits, tax filings, and statutory compliances

Software \& Tools

• Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime
• Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
• Experience with inventory or ERP systems is an advantage

Preferred Skills \& Traits

• Experience in technology / hardware-based companies
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting
• Ability to work independently in a startup environment
• Good coordination and communication skills
