Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quality Architect - Digital Assurance to lead quality engineering initiatives, design scalable test automation solutions, and drive enterprise-wide quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Selenium Automation, Playwright with TypeScript, and Automation Framework Architecture , with proven experience in architecting modern test solutions and enabling quality transformation across Agile and DevOps environments. This role requires a hands-on leader who can define testing strategy, mentor teams, and ensure high-quality software delivery.

Must Have

• ------------
• 9-12 years of experience in Quality Engineering and Test Automation
• Strong experience in Selenium Automation
• Hands-on expertise in Playwright with TypeScript
• Proven experience in Automation Framework Design and Development
• Experience working as a QA Architect / Test Architect
• Strong understanding of Test Strategy, Test Architecture, and Quality Governance
• Experience integrating automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of Agile, SDLC, and STLC
• Experience in UI, API, and End-to-End Test Automation
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript
• Ability to lead technical discussions, mentor teams, and drive automation adoption
• Experience defining QA standards, quality metrics, and release-readiness criteria

Good to Have

• API Automation using Postman or Rest Assured
• Experience with Performance Testing and Security Testing
• Exposure to Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Microservices Testing
• Experience with reporting tools such as Allure Reports, Extent Reports, or ReportPortal
• Accessibility Testing and Cross-Browser Testing experience
• Relevant certifications in Automation Testing, Quality Engineering, Agile, or DevOps

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement enterprise-level Quality Engineering and Automation strategies.
• Architect scalable, maintainable, and reusable automation frameworks.
• Drive adoption of Playwright and Selenium-based automation solutions.
• Establish test governance, best practices, and quality standards.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to ensure end-to-end quality.
• Mentor QA engineers and provide architectural guidance.
• Monitor quality metrics and continuously improve testing effectiveness and efficiency.
• Drive innovation and modernization of testing practices across the organization
