Facility Maintenance Technician

• Monitor and maintain electrical distribution systems, panels, wiring and associated equipment.
• Attend electrical faults and ensure safe operation of electrical installations.

Diesel Generator (DG Set)

• Monitor and maintain the 250 kVA DG set.
• Conduct routine inspections and coordinate servicing and breakdown repairs.

Elevators \& Lifting Equipment

• Monitor 3 MRL elevators and 1 dumbwaiter.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance, inspections and breakdown services with authorized elevator contractors.

HVAC \& Air Conditioning Systems

• Monitor and maintain indoor and outdoor AC units (IDUs and ODUs).
• Attend routine HVAC issues and coordinate specialized servicing when required.

Water Treatment, RO \& Plumbing Systems

• Monitor rooftop Water Treatment Plant (WTP), RO plant and overall water pipeline systems.
• Ensure proper functioning of plumbing installations and water supply systems.

Pumps \& Water Management

• Inspect and maintain submersible, pressure and standard water pumps.
• Monitor pump operations and attend breakdowns.

Fire Alarm \& Firefighting Systems

• Monitor fire alarm panels, public address (PA) systems, smoke detectors, sprinklers and associated firefighting equipment.
• Ensure routine checks and coordinate with authorized fire safety service providers.

Kitchen Gas Bank \& Gas Safety

• Monitor the ground-floor kitchen gas bank and associated gas supply systems.
• Ensure routine safety checks and immediately report gas leaks or other safety concerns.

Programmable LED Façade Lighting

• Monitor and troubleshoot microprocessor-controlled matrix LED façade lighting systems.
• Coordinate specialized repairs when necessary.

Hospitality \& General Equipment

• Attend routine maintenance and breakdown issues involving general facility and hospitality equipment.
• Ensure minimum operational disruption.

Preventive Maintenance \& Documentation

• Follow daily, weekly, monthly and annual preventive maintenance schedules.
• Maintain equipment logs, breakdown reports, inspection records and maintenance checklists.
• Coordinate with OEMs, contractors and authorized service providers.

Guest Services \& Operational Coordination

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from different operational departments.
• Ensure minimum inconvenience to guests and smooth functioning during events and peak operating hours.

Qualifications \& Experience

Minimum Requirements

• ITI qualification in Electrical, Fitter, Refrigeration \& Air Conditioning, Plumbing or any other relevant technical trade; alternatively, a Diploma or equivalent technical qualification.
• Preferably 1–3 years of experience in facility maintenance, hotels, commercial buildings, restaurants, banquet facilities or similar establishments.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems (single-phase and three-phase), motors, pumps, HVAC, plumbing and consumer appliances.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance schedules, fault reporting and equipment maintenance logs.
• Basic computer and mobile-based reporting skills.
• Ability to work in shifts, handle emergencies and coordinate with multiple departments.

Preferred Skills \& Additional Experience

• Experience with VRF air-conditioning systems, DG sets, Water Treatment Plants and fire safety systems.
• Familiarity with commercial hospitality equipment.
• Knowledge of energy conservation and equipment operating efficiency.
• Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
• Valid electrical competency certification or relevant trade-specific authorization, wherever required.

Reporting \& Coordination

The technician will report to the Facility Coordinator, General Manager or Estate Manager and coordinate with the following departments

• Front Office \& Housekeeping
• Banquet \& Event Operations
• Restaurant \& Kitchen Management
• Rooftop Operations
• Security \& Fire Safety Teams
• General Services
• Authorized electrical, HVAC, DG, elevator, gas and fire safety contractors.

Any immediate threat to life safety, major equipment damage, significant service interruption or statutory compliance issue must be escalated to the concerned supervisor without delay.

Maintenance Schedule \& Emergency Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance as per the prescribed daily, weekly, monthly and annual schedules.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requirements.
• Follow all safety procedures, work permits and authorization protocols.
• Ensure proper documentation and escalation of unresolved technical issues.
• Coordinate with authorized contractors for specialized maintenance and repairs.

Job Accountability

The Facility Maintenance Technician shall be responsible for carrying out assigned inspections, preventive maintenance and authorized repairs; maintaining accurate equipment records; promptly reporting faults and breakdowns; supporting safe and uninterrupted building operations; and ensuring that all critical maintenance issues are escalated to the appropriate supervisor or authorized service provider.
