Job description

Job Summary : The Cashier is responsible for handling customer billing transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring a smooth checkout experience while maintaining cash and system accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle cash, card, UPI, and other digital payment transactions
• Generate bills and invoices accurately using POS systems
• Maintain cash register and ensure daily cash reconciliation
• Assist customers with billing-related queries and returns/exchanges
• Follow company policies for discounts, offers, and refunds
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the billing counter
• Support store operations during peak hours

Required Skills \& Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: 10+2 / Graduate preferred
• Prior experience as a cashier (retail/electronics preferred)
• Basic computer knowledge and POS handling
• Good numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Polite communication and customer-handling skills
