Fashion Designer

Role Overview

The candidate will contribute to the development of seasonal collections for domestic and international markets, working across design research, concept development, fabric exploration, garment design and sampling.

The ideal candidate should have a strong design sensibility, an understanding of garment construction and the ability to translate creative ideas into commercially viable products.

Key Responsibilities

Research global and domestic fashion trends, colours, textures and silhouettes.

Develop seasonal design concepts, mood boards, colour stories and design presentations.

Understand the brand’s design philosophy and translate it into distinctive collections.

Develop original garment designs, silhouettes, prints, surface details and textile-based concepts.

Create design sketches, technical drawings and detailed specifications.

Work on fabric selection, colour combinations, textures and garment detailing.

Contribute to the development of collections for international and domestic fashion exhibitions and trade fair.

Coordinate with textile designers, pattern makers, tailors and production teams to develop samples.

Prepare tech packs, measurement charts, garment specifications and material details.

Support the preparation of collections for buyer presentations, fashion shows and exhibitions.

Qualification

Graduate in Fashion Design,or a related discipline.

2–3 years of relevant experience in fashion design or garment development. Exceptional fresh graduates with a strong portfolio may also be considered.
