INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN – PLANT OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE

Rohit Exergy India Private Limited is looking for a dedicated and experienced Electrician / Plant Operator (Production & Maintenance) to join our biomass pellet manufacturing facility located at MG Road Industrial Area, Masuri Gulawathi, District Hapur (Near Dasna, Ghaziabad).

You will play a critical role in operating the complete biomass pellet manufacturing plant, maximizing production efficiency, maintaining machinery, and ensuring smooth day-to-day plant operations.

You will also receive direct OEM training during plant commissioning, providing a unique opportunity to develop expertise in modern biomass pellet manufacturing technology and grow with the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Handle day-to-day electrical maintenance of the complete manufacturing plant.

Identify, diagnose and resolve electrical faults, breakdowns and machinery shutdowns.

Maintain and troubleshoot industrial motors, motor starters, control panels, MCBs, MCCs, APFC panels, sensors and electrical connections.

Monitor electrical systems and ensure the proper functioning of plant machinery.

Assist with PLC-operated machinery, electrical controls and automation systems.

Perform preventive electrical maintenance and ensure electrical safety.

Coordinate with external technicians and service providers for specialised electrical work when required.

Plant Operations & Production

Operate and manage the complete biomass pellet manufacturing plant.

Maximize production output by optimizing machine capacity, process efficiency, and minimizing downtime.

Monitor product quality and ensure smooth production operations.

Perform preventive maintenance including lubrication, inspection, adjustment, replacement of wear parts, and routine machine upkeep.

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues independently.

Supervise plant helpers and ensure efficient utilization of manpower.

Maintain production records while ensuring safety, housekeeping, and operational discipline.

Preferred Experience

2–8 years of experience in Electrical, Manufacturing or Process industries.

Hands-on knowledge of industrial electrical maintenance, motors, electrical panels, wiring, MCBs, MCCs and APFC panels.

Ability to independently identify and troubleshoot electrical faults.

Experience in Biomass Pellet Plants, Briquette Plants, Feed Mills, Rice Mills, Flour Mills, Wood Processing, or similar manufacturing industries will be preferred.

Experience with conveyors, motors, gearboxes, bearings, PLC-operated machinery, or automated production lines, electrical work including MCB, APFC panel, PLC, and HT-LT work.

Strong understanding of industrial machinery, production optimization, and preventive maintenance.

Experienced biomass pellet plant operators with strong electrical and maintenance knowledge are also welcome to apply.

Preferred Qualification

ITI (Electrician / Fitter / Mechanical) or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.

Candidates with strong hands-on industrial experience are encouraged to apply even if they do not possess the above qualifications.
