Job Summary

Sysmantech Group is looking for a skilled and experienced Printer Service Technician to handle printer installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair services.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience in servicing laser and inkjet printers, diagnosing hardware issues, and providing efficient technical support to customers. Experience with HP printers will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair laser and inkjet printers.

Handle installation, configuration, and setup of printers.

Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing.

Identify and resolve printer hardware and software issues.

Repair printer components such as fusers, rollers, pickup assemblies, printheads, and paper feed mechanisms.

Troubleshoot paper jams, printing quality issues, connectivity problems, and error codes.

Handle cartridge installation, replacement, and printer consumables-related issues.

Provide on-site and in-house technical support to customers.

Configure network printers and resolve connectivity issues.

Maintain proper service records and repair documentation.

Ensure timely completion of service requests and customer satisfaction.

Follow company service standards and technical procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

ITI / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or relevant technical qualification is preferred.

Minimum 1–3 years of experience in printer servicing and maintenance.

Practical knowledge of laser and inkjet printer troubleshooting.

Knowledge of printer hardware components and repair procedures.

Familiarity with printer drivers, installation, and network configuration.

Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to handle customer complaints professionally.

Willingness to travel for customer-site service calls, if required.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with hands-on experience in HP printer servicing are preferred.

Experience with HP LaserJet, Ink Tank, Smart Tank, and DeskJet printers will be an added advantage.

Experience servicing other brands such as Canon, Epson, Brother, and Samsung will also be considered.

Candidates with experience in authorized printer service centres are preferred.
