Lab Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Lab Technician to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests, handling equipment, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting of results while maintaining strict laboratory standards and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Collect and process patient samples such as blood, urine, and other specimens

Perform laboratory tests following standard operating procedures

Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments

Accurately record and document test results

Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of all samples

Follow laboratory safety guidelines and infection control protocols

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory environment

Assist senior technicians and doctors during diagnostic procedures

Ensure timely reporting of test results to relevant departments

Experience

1–3 years of experience in a diagnostic laboratory or hospital.

Skills Required

Knowledge of laboratory testing procedures

Ability to operate lab equipment

Attention to detail and accuracy

Good communication and teamwork skills

Basic computer knowledge
