Logistics Faculty (In-house) - URGENT OPENING

Laurus Institute (established 2011, 4,000+ students trained, 200+ hiring partners) is hiring a full-time in-house Logistics Faculty with real industry experience. Shortlisted candidates will be called within 2 working days.
What you will do
- Teach warehouse management, logistics operations, inventory management, transportation and distribution, procurement basics, shipping documentation and supply chain fundamentals to our Diploma, PG Diploma and MBA batches.
- Run practical sessions: case studies, warehouse layout exercises, inventory control problems, transport planning, and industrial visits to ports, warehouses and 3PL facilities.
- Prepare session plans, assignments and assessments; maintain student progress records in the Laurus ERP.
- Mentor students for placement interviews using real workplace examples.
- Keep the curriculum current with industry practice and placement-partner feedback.
Who we are looking for
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on industry experience in warehousing, logistics, inventory control, transportation or supply chain operations (3PL, shipping, freight forwarding, manufacturing or retail distribution).
- Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory methods (FIFO, ABC, EOQ, cycle counting), transport and distribution planning and shipping documentation.
- Graduate in any discipline; PG, MBA or a logistics/SCM certification is an advantage.
- Able to teach in English and Malayalam and explain concepts with workplace examples.
- Teaching or corporate training experience is a plus; we will support a strong practitioner who is new to teaching.
- Immediate or short-notice joiners preferred. Monday to Saturday, on campus at Kalamassery.
